→ Notifying about allergies and prior reactions to anesthesia.
→ Consumption of current medications (If any), the use of vitamins, supplements, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
→ Women using contraceptives should inform.
Before surgery, the surgeon will give you a few guidelines about the dos and don’ts.
Which include:
→ Cessation of smoking
→ Stop taking certain types of medications that may increase your risk of abnormal bleeding
On the day of surgery, you may be asked to:
→ Avoid eating or drinking anything within a defined period before surgery.
→ Follow all postoperative instructions carefully, including cleansing and at-home treatment regimens, and avoid sun exposure.
→ Your cooperation will influence the outcome of your surgery.
